Out of the turbulent waves of COVID-19, the idea for Knight Glampings was born at the end of 2021. We had an array of XVth-century replica items, several events planned, and an investment proposal on how to put these assets to work.

The plan was to launch in Russia in 2022 (hence the calculations being in rubles), but then other events of a much larger and graver scale unfolded 🤯

Nevertheless, the product described in this pitch deck remains a strong example of what we consider a Minimum Viable Project in the realm of historical ventures:
  • It leverages resources already at hand
  • Capitalises on a growing trend
  • Operates on a model focused on quick turnover of funds
  • Includes precise dates and figures
  • Features multiple exit strategies, including one for when things “go badly”.

KNIGHT GLAMPING
The royal camp was a grand spectacle: 300 tents made of gold and silver-woven fabric were installed on a vast plain. Real palaces, made only of fabric, formed a whole fairy-tale city. French lords runked between these air structures, who, wanting to strike Henry VIII, dressed so magnificently that they carried "their mills, forests and meadows on their shoulders".

KNIGHT GLAMPING
CAPITAL
JUNE - glamping at the St. George's tournament. The knightly camp is the main point of attraction, not counting the list. The tournament in 2019 "Picnic in the Middle Ages" was visited by 133 people in 5 days. The integration of glamping into the tournament will reduce the costs of support and develop an audience.

AUGUST - we are planning to move to the site that hosted the historical festivals "Gorodetskoye Gulbishche" and "Ritter Weg", thanks to which it is known to local residents. Communications are established on the site.

SEPTEMBER - glamping will move to the south before the end of the tourist season in October to the living history park. In the park there is a reconstruction of the Genoese estate of the XV century Loco Cimbali - a point of attraction for visitors.

Thus, in the starting season we will work for 4 months, taking into account the time for moving, we estimate 100 working days

WE HAVE TWO DEVELOPMENT OPTIONS:

1. We continue to work in the format of the glamping or gain a foothold on a permanent site near Vyborg, Kaliningrad or in Crimea, bringing the investor 4.5 million rubles per season

2. We recognize the experiment as unsuccessful. We will sell furniture, tents and props for winter-spring, recouping the investments and bringing the investor 2.5 million rubles of net profit
